Evan Walden

Evan Walden has a diverse work experience that spans across various roles and sectors. Evan is the CEO and co-founder of Getro, where they focus on helping companies hire faster and professionals connect with companies they are interested in. Prior to starting Getro, Evan was a member at Sandbox, a creative community that promotes collaboration and innovation. Evan was also an entrepreneur in residence at Unreasonable Goals, where they worked on a partnership between Monday and Unreasonable Group to support entrepreneurs in hiring talent and scaling their ventures. Evan is an alumni of Techstars, an accelerator program, and has served as the CEO and president of ReWork, a recruitment service for nonprofits and purpose-driven companies. Additionally, they have been a fellow at StartingBloc and a sales manager at The Dow Chemical Company. Evan Walden completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Vermont from 2005 to 2009. In 2007, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, focusing on International Business.
