Joeri Barbier

Joeri Barbier is an experienced information security professional with a career spanning over two decades, currently serving as the Global Chief Information Security Officer and Global Head of Operational Security at Getronics since January 2018. Prior to this role, Joeri held the position of Chief Information Security Officer and Security Coordinator at Getronics BeLux from October 2011 to December 2017 and worked in various security-focused roles at Getronics from August 2006. Joeri began the career as a Security Engineer at Telindus Belgacom ICT, where foundational skills in network and security management were developed from 2000 to July 2006, including the establishment of a new security team. Joeri’s initial experience includes an analyst programmer role at Alcatel from 1998 to 2000. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in ICT Management from Groep T - Internationale Hogeschool Leuven.
