Marius Simon

Marius Simon has a strong background in technology and entrepreneurship. Marius started their career by founding Peakdrive in 2013. In this role, Marius was responsible for leading the company and developing its technological solutions.

After their time at Peakdrive, Marius joined Getsafe in 2014 as the CTO & Founder. Getsafe is an insurtech company that aims to make insurance simple, fair, and accessible. Marius played a vital role in building and growing the company, which has become one of the best-rated insurtechs in Europe. Under their leadership, Getsafe has expanded its operations to serve over 400,000 customers in several countries.

In 2021, Marius and their team achieved a significant milestone when Getsafe received an insurance license from Germany's financial regulator, BaFin. This achievement reflects Marius's expertise and commitment to revolutionizing the insurance industry through technology.

Marius Simon attended Heidelberg University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics. Marius then continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Physics in the year 2014.
