Heather Laing

Heather Laing has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources and talent acquisition.

Heather is currently working as the VP, People / Head of People at GetSales since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of People at GetSales from November 2021 to December 2022.

Heather also worked at Dialpad as the Senior Director, Global Talent from September 2020 to November 2021. In this role, they led the global Talent Acquisition function, overseeing the hiring of over 700 employees and managing the growth of the team.

Before joining Dialpad, Heather worked at Sonos, Inc. as the Director, Global Talent Acquisition from February 2016 to July 2020. Heather led recruiting efforts for various departments globally and managed a team spread across different regions.

Prior to Sonos, they held the position of Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations & Programs at Nuance Communications from May 2014 to December 2015.

Heather also gained valuable experience at SanDisk® where they served as the University Recruiting & Talent Development Leader from November 2011 to December 2013. Heather focused on talent management initiatives and implemented new strategies for identifying and developing technical talent.

At VMware, Heather held multiple roles. Heather started as an HR Specialist from January 2003 to November 2006, then became the Global University Recruiting Leader from November 2006 to February 2011. Lastly, they served as the Talent Acquisition Operations Program Manager from February 2011 to November 2011, where they managed the implementation of a new ATS and was responsible for diversity, compliance, reporting, and analytics.

Overall, Heather Laing has demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition, team management, and various HR domains throughout their career.

Heather Laing obtained a Life Coach Certification from The Life Coach School in the year 2020. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies from Simmons University between 1997 and 2001.
