Alexandra Thorson

Alexandra Thorson is the Director of Community & Content at Selected. Prior to joining Selected, Alexandra was with Teach For America as the Manager of Alumni Network from June 2013 to August 2018. Alexandra began their career as an English Language Arts Teacher with Kansas City Public Schools from September 2010 to June 2013. Alexandra also founded The Park Player's Children's Theatre where they served as a Teaching Artist from August 2008 to December 2009.

Alexandra Thorson has a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and a Bachelor's Degree in Individualized Studies with concentrations in Mass Communication, Theatre, and Film from the University of Minnesota.
