Shivanju Awasthi is a seasoned technology professional with a diverse background in engineering and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Simpl since April 2024, Shivanju previously co-founded the Unnati GST Filing App, aimed at simplifying GST filing for India's 15 million registered businesses. Prior to that, Shivanju co-founded Astu Credit, which focused on improving credit scores through innovative payment solutions, and AirTap, a card-less credit system for smartphone users. With experience at VMware as a Member of Technical Staff, Shivanju contributed to cloud cost management solutions, developing essential tools for budgeting and expense tracking.
