Jason Caplain is a General Partner and Co-Founder of Bull City Venture Partners, with over two decades of experience in venture capitalism. Prior to establishing BCVP, Jason co-founded Southern Capitol Ventures and worked in finance at Red Hat during its successful IPO in 1999. Jason has held several board positions, including board observer roles at Spiffy and Viably, and is a board member at Levitate and Tiga AI. Additionally, Jason serves on the Investment Advisory Board for Virginia Venture Partners and is part of the Organizing Board for Mindshare, a network supporting high-growth companies and CEOs. Jason earned a BS in Finance from Bentley University and resides in Raleigh, NC, with their family.
