Mark Poag

Mark Poag is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Fitz Gate Ventures, a network-driven venture capital firm that is currently investing out of its third fund. Prior to this, Mark served as the Senior Vice President at Datacert, Inc., leading multiple functions until its successful sale in 2014. They were also the Founder and CEO of Digicontract, Inc., which was sold in 2001. In addition to their work in venture capital, Mark teaches venture capital investing as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University and as a Lecturer at Princeton University, where they received the Clio Hall Award for excellence in teaching. Mark is actively involved in various investment roles across multiple companies, contributing to innovation in diverse sectors.
