Martha Soehren, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several decades. Martha has held various leadership positions in the field of learning and development, executive coaching, and talent management.

In 1987, Dr. Soehren began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Executive Officer and Management Analyst in various roles until 2000.

From 1993 to 1995, they worked as the Director of Human Resources and Learning & Development at The Children's Center of Wayne County.

In 2000, Dr. Soehren joined Comcast University as the Vice President of Learning and Development for the Midwest Division. Martha successfully established a centralized learning organization and implemented high-potential programs for different workforce levels.

In 2001, they were promoted to the role of Chief Talent Development Officer at Comcast, assuming additional responsibility for Talent Management in 2012. Martha served in this role for 13 years, leading a team of 500 professionals and overseeing all areas of learning and development, leadership development, and talent management. Martha retired from this position in July 2020.

In 2021, Dr. Soehren founded their own consulting firm, Soehren and Associates, LLC, where they worked as an Executive Development Advisor and Coach.

In 2022, they took on multiple roles as a Senior Executive Coach at AIIR Consulting and a CLO Coach at Cognota.

Throughout their career, Dr. Soehren has demonstrated expertise in organizational development, talent management, executive coaching, and learning and development.

Martha Soehren earned a high school diploma from Union Pines High School in the years 1968 to 1972. Martha then pursued higher education at the University of Detroit Mercy, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree. After that, they attended Jacksonville State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Technology degree in Occupational Technology. Additionally, they obtained a diploma in Management/Industrial Engineering from the US Army Management Engineering College. Finally, Martha Soehren earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Wayne State University, specializing in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a cognate in Organizational Behavior.
