Alexcia Chambers has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alexcia started their career as a National Security Correspondent at WTOP News from 2010 to 2012. Alexcia then worked as a Public Affairs Specialist at the U.S. Department of State in 2015. Alexcia also had a role as a Contributing Editor at The Diplomatic Courier from 2014 to 2015.

Alexcia Chambers has a Master's Degree in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Alexcia also has a Master's Degree in International Relations and Affairs from Syracuse University - Maxwell School. Additionally, they studied International Relations and Affairs as well as Latin American Studies at William & Mary. Alexcia participated in various short-term study programs, including studying Spanish, Human Rights, and Social Movements at the University of Buenos Aires, National Security at the William & Mary National Security Institute, and Hispanic Studies at The University of Cádiz, Spain.
