Bryant Getzel

Bryant Getzel has a diverse work history. Bryant started their career in 2007 as a Music Marketing Event Manager at Toad's Place Richmond. Bryant then moved on to work as a Vitaminwater Marketing and Event Manager at The Coca-Cola Company in 2008. After that, they worked as a Small Business Sales Consultant at Verizon Wireless from 2009 to 2011.

From 2011 to 2013, Bryant worked at LivingSocial, starting as a Marketing Consultant on the Travel Launch Team and eventually becoming a Senior Sales Specialist. Bryant achieved impressive sales results and received promotions during their time there.

In 2013, Bryant joined CEB as a Revenue Support Manager, where they oversaw business development strategies and managed a team.

From 2014 to 2016, Bryant worked at Opower as a Senior Manager, Sales Development, supporting utility companies in improving customer experience through digital communications.

In 2016, Bryant joined Upside as their General Manager, becoming their first commercial hire. Bryant played a key role in growing the company and expanding its retail locations.

Currently, Bryant holds the position of Vice President of Sales at Upside, where they continue to contribute to the company's success.

Additionally, Bryant has invested in Method and Pacto in 2023 and 2022, respectively, demonstrating their interest in investing in innovative companies.

Bryant Getzel received a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business to Business Marketing from James Madison University in the years 2002 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained several certifications in software improvements, agile planning for software products, client needs and software requirements, software processes and agile practices, and introduction to software product management from the University of Alberta on Coursera in 2017.
