Zach Roth

Zach Roth has a diverse and progressive work experience. Zach is currently working at Upside as the Director of Engineering since December 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior Engineering Manager at Upside from December 2021 to December 2023. Zach also worked at Vertical as the Director of Engineering from May 2019 to November 2021.

Before their roles at Upside and Vertical, Zach worked at Rally Health in various positions. Zach started as a Software Engineer in April 2015 and was promoted to Senior Software Engineer in February 2016. Later, they became an Engineering Manager in February 2017 and then a Senior DevOps Engineer from February 2018 to April 2019.

Zach gained professional experience as a Consultant at Clarity Consulting from August 2013 to March 2015, where they worked on designing and developing custom applications and user experiences across different technologies and industries. Zach also had internships at National Instruments, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, Vanderbilt Computational Memory Lab, Goldstein Schechter Koch, and Innovia LLC.

Additionally, Zach has experience in the educational field, where they were a Head Resident at Vanderbilt University from August 2010 to May 2013. In this role, they supervised and coordinated a team of Resident Advisers and organized educational events for the residents. Zach was also recognized as the Outstanding Head Resident of the Year in 2012.

Zach Roth received their B.S. degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in 2013. Prior to that, they completed their International Baccalaureate diploma at Coral Reef Senior High School in 2009. In 2012, they obtained a certification as a Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer from the National Instruments.
