Long Nguyen

Long Nguyen has a diverse work experience. Long started their career as a Web Developer at Intelligent Financial Research & Consulting (IFRC) in 2010. In this role, they worked on PHP web development, system analysis, and built company CMS using frameworks like Codeigniter and CMSs like WordPress and Magento. Long also worked on projects such as PVN Index and AMD Nature.

After IFRC, Long joined MeKongCom Corp. (Vinabook.com) as a Senior PHP Developer in 2013. Here, they designed and built an e-commerce system using CS-Cart, created backend systems for customer service and warehouse, implemented a search engine using ElasticSearch, and researched and applied new information technologies.

Long's most recent role was at Ventive LLC, where they held two positions. Long started as a Full Stack Developer / SysAdmin in 2015, where they monitored systems, worked with developers, and provided support. Long also worked with AWS services, implemented infrastructure as code using Ansible, and created a continuous delivery system with Jenkins, Ansible, and Docker. Long took on the role of Lead Systems Engineer in 2017 and their tenure in this role is ongoing.

From 2007 to 2012, Long Nguyen attended the University of Information Technology, Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh city, where they studied Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
