Anna Cashman has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and communications roles. Anna started their career as a Marketing and Communications professional at Deskmag/Deskwanted, where they had various responsibilities including communications, marketing, journalism, sales, and event organization. Anna then moved on to work as a Communications Manager for Social Media Week Berlin, where they organized a conference exploring the impact of new technologies. Anna also co-authored an e-book called "Independents Unite! Inside the Freelancers' Rights Movement" as a part of their role at the Freelancers' Movement.
In 2013, Anna joined Moviemiento e.V as a Communications/Project Manager, organizing cultural events and workshops. Anna then worked at Australia's Best City as a Project Manager, focusing on data analysis and visualization to compare the country's capitals.
Anna's work experience also includes roles at URBANARA, a Berlin-based online homewares company, where they served as a Content Strategist, Senior Content Manager, and Content & PR Manager focusing on content creation, campaign planning, and PR strategy. Finally, they worked at GetYourGuide, where they started as a Brand Campaign Manager and progressed to become a Brand Manager for Attractions, a Senior Brand Manager for Experiences & DMO Marketing, and currently holds the position of Brand Lead. In these roles, Anna developed and implemented marketing strategies, managed multi-channel campaigns, conducted market research projects, and created partnerships with various attractions and destinations.
Anna Cashman attended the University of Adelaide from 2001 to 2005, where they earned two Bachelor's Degrees. In the first degree program, they studied Political Science and Government, while their second major was in French Studies.
