Monika Shale has a diverse range of work experience. Monika began their career as a Consultancy Assistant at McKinsey & Company in 2006, where they designed PowerPoint presentations and proof-read texts. Monika then moved on to work as a Salesperson at Bertur Biuro Podróży, where they prepared quotes and sold holiday packages. Following that, they worked as a Picture Editor at Telewizja Polska S.A., where they were responsible for maintaining the photo archive and editing new photos. Monika then joined Paragona Polska as a Trainee, providing support for consultants in the recruitment process. After that, they interned in the Polish International Business Development department at Affinitas GmbH - eDarling. Monika also served as Country Manager Poland at greatcontent.com for a brief period. Monika then worked as a Community Manager and Customer Support at Plinga GmbH. Monika volunteered as a Volunteer at Associação Comunitária Monte Azul. Monika currently works at GetYourGuide as a Senior Customer Experience staff member, focusing on Quality Assurance and Coaching.

Monika Shale obtained a Master's degree in European Studies/Civilization from the University of Warsaw, which they attended from the year 2005 until 2010. Following this, in 2013 and 2014, they pursued further education at the Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Berlin, earning a certificate in the History of Berlin.
