Thiago Rigo

Thiago Rigo has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Thiago began their career in 2008 as a Web Developer at Liquid!. In 2009, they worked as a C# Developer at Dualtec. In 2010, Thiago was a Research and Development Trainee at Arizona Premedia and Marketing Automation, where they utilized technologies such as JSX, PHP, MySQL, Flex, and SOAP to develop Adobe Indesign plugins and integrated applications with After Effects. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Software Developer at Arizona Premedia and Marketing Automation, maintaining legacy products and developing new ones with tools like ghostscript, ffmpeg, and imagemagick. Afterwards, they joined Dafiti as a Software Developer, where they focused on software quality measures and best practices, such as TDD and Continuous Integration, as well as creating a multi-store context for new first-level stores. In 2012, Thiago worked as the 2nd Secretary at Associação Brasileira de Profissionais PHP. Starting in 2012, they joined Emprego Ligado as a Software Developer, taking on responsibilities such as back-end development, system administration, and infrastructure migration to AWS. Thiago then transitioned to the role of Data Engineer within the same company, working on architecting, implementing, and maintaining data infrastructure on AWS, including scalable and cost-effective ETL processes and Redshift data warehousing. From 2015 to 2017, Thiago worked as a Data Engineer at Stylight. Finally, they joined GetYourGuide in 2017, starting as a Data Engineer before progressing to Senior Data Engineer, Associate Engineering Manager, and currently serving as an Engineering Manager as of February 2021.

Thiago Rigo pursued their education in the field of Information Technology. In 2009 to 2010, they attended FIAP and completed a degree in Software Engineering. Later in 2012 to 2013, Thiago enrolled in FIAP again and successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Cloud Computing.
