Torben Bach is the Head of Department and State Geologist at GEUS, where they have been since 2023, overseeing the Department of Near Surface Land and Marine Geology. Previously, they served as the Head of Department for Data & Software Services at NIRAS and have held various engineering and geophysical roles across several organizations, including GEUS and Aarhus University. Torben earned a Master of Science from Aarhus Universitet and an MBA from Aarhus BSS. They also completed an executive education program at Harvard Business School. In 2023, Torben became a board member at the Danish Water Forum.
