Carol Battershell

Carol Battershell serves as an independent director, consultant, and advisory board member, currently guiding BluEarth and Gevo. With a decade at the U.S. Department of Energy as Principal Deputy Director, Carol led significant technical programs and policy initiatives. Prior to government service, Carol spent 25 years at BP, culminating in the role of Vice President for BP Alternative Energy. Carol holds a BS in Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University, and also runs Battersea Energy LLC.
