David Matthys

David Matthys is currently the Abteilungsleiter at GEWA, where they oversee departmental operations. Previously, they held the position of Eingliederungsfachperson at IV-Stelle Kanton Bern from 2018 to 2022 and were the Betriebsleiter at Burgergemeinde Bern from 2013 to 2018. David began their career as a Jugendarbeiter at Stadt Burgdorf from 2010 to 2011 and served as a Projektleiter at Infoklick.ch from 2011 to 2013, focusing on youth participation in communities. David is pursuing an EMBA in Leadership & Management at Berner Fachhochschule BFH, along with studies in Social Work at Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz FHNW and a Praxisausbildner qualification at Fachhoschule Luzern.
