Yvan Meyer

Yvan Meyer has a comprehensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Yvan is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at GF Machining Solutions, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Head of Technical Unit Milling and Managing Director of GFMS AG at GF Machining Solutions from March 2021 to August 2023. In this role, they managed multiple teams and was responsible for developing action plans and long-term strategies to improve profitability and competitive positioning.

Before joining GF Machining Solutions, Yvan Meyer served as the CEO of Mori Seiki International SA from April 2015 to September 2018. Yvan also worked as the Business Unit Manager at Sonceboz SA from March 2008 to March 2015 and as the Head of Sales and Development at Styner+Bienz FormTech Ltd. from December 2000 to February 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Projektleiter at Liechti Engineering from April 1998 to December 2000.

Yvan Meyer started their career as a student at EPFL, where they studied from 1993 to 1998.

Yvan Meyer completed their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1993 to 1998. Later, from 2004 to 2006, they pursued an MBA degree with a focus on Economics from the University of Rochester - William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration (CH) and the University of Bern.
