James West

James West serves as Principal and Managing Director at GFF, having held this position since September 2011, where responsibilities include firm-wide recruiting. With a strong background as a Registered Architect in Texas, Colorado, Illinois, and Utah, James is also a LEED®AP. Prior experience includes serving as Principal at RTKL Associates Inc. from December 2004 to April 2010, focusing on multi-family and mixed-use projects. James held project management roles at JHP Architecture / Urban Design and RTKL, contributing to multiple sector projects. Earlier career experience includes working as a Staff Architect at HKS, specializing in healthcare projects. James earned a B.Arch. in Architecture from The University of Kansas and completed additional studies at The French Pastry School.
