John McNamee serves as the Head of Online Services, IT, Risk and Operations Division at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC). Currently, they are also a Systems Analyst Supervisor at Butterfield Group, where they have worked since 2021. Previously, John held various roles, including Senior Application Support Analyst at Capital International from 2006 to 2016, and Senior Support Analyst at Columbia Threadneedle Investments EMEA APAC from 2017 to 2020. They began their career as an IT Support Analyst at Charles Taylor Consulting from 2001 to 2006 and earned a BA (Hons) in Business Economics from The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1998 to 2001.
