Jay Eum

Jay Eum is the Founding Managing Partner of GFT Ventures, a firm that invests in early-stage startups in the US and Israel focusing on AI and frontier technologies. Prior to this role, Jay co-founded TransLink Capital and served as Managing Director at Samsung Ventures, where they led U.S. venture operations. Jay has held various positions in venture capital, including Vice President at Vertex Management and Senior Director at Dialpad Communications. They hold an MBA from Stanford University and a combined M.S/B.S. in Chemistry from Seoul National University. Additionally, Jay is active in advising startups and serves on the boards of multiple organizations.
