Emílio Bugs, CIPP/E, is an experienced legal director currently overseeing LATAM and US operations at GFT Group. They have a robust background in IT and IP transactions, as well as M&A deals in Brazil, having worked both as in-house counsel and external advisor. Emílio holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary, University of London, and has developed skills in Intellectual Property, Corporate, and Contractual Law. They have also held various legal roles at notable firms, including SAP Brazil, where they provided legal support on intellectual property and compliance matters.
