Jaime Escobar is a seasoned professional in project delivery and management, currently serving as Co-Founder of MICA since June 2024, where the focus is on developing AI-driven smart water sensors to address the water crisis in Barcelona. With a long-standing tenure at GFT Group beginning in January 2005 as Delivery Manager for the German Market, Jaime oversees project delivery for German clients from various production units. Previous experience includes managerial roles at DB SAE from 1999 to 2001, responsible for management systems in Spain, and as a Manager in SAP projects at Accenture from 1990 to 2000, where expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling was developed. Jaime holds an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and completed the PDD program at IESE Business School in 2003.
