Amanda Hess, P.E., CFM, is the Vice President of Geotechnical Dams and Hydraulics at GFT, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Gannett Fleming from 1999 to 2025 as the Hydrology and Hydraulics Group Manager and Senior Project Engineer, leading a team in hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for various water resource projects. Amanda earned a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Penn State University, completing their education in 1999. They are passionate about mentoring younger staff, teaching technical seminars, and solving complex engineering challenges.
