Daniel Knee, R.P.Bio., CAN-CISEC, is an Aquatic Ecologist with over twenty years of consulting experience in aquatic and fisheries biology and environmental specialization. Daniel's expertise includes fish habitat characterization, aquatic Species at Risk, and project impact assessments. They previously served as an Aquatic Biologist and Project Manager at Dillon Consulting Limited from 2006 to 2017 and as a Senior Biologist at Parsons Corporation from 2017 to 2022. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Principal Aquatic Ecologist and Natural Sciences Team Lead at GFT while managing ecology at MTE Consultants. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Trent University and a Technician Diploma in Ecosystem Management from Sir Sandford Fleming.
