Daniel Scheer, P.E. is currently a Manager of Traction Power at GFT, where they lead the design and development of DC traction power and signal power systems for major rail transit agencies in the United States. Since joining GFT in 2014, Daniel has managed multi-disciplinary design teams and coordinated project schedules, serving as the primary liaison among engineering teams, transit authorities, and contractors. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Engineer, Draftsman, and Estimator at Wire to Water Inc., where they focused on HVAC control panel engineering. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Farmingdale State College and is currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering at Suffolk County Community College.
