Irene Dijkman

Irene Dijkman possesses extensive experience in the field of psychology, holding various roles across multiple organizations. As of January 2025, Dijkman serves as Directeur Behandelzaken at Somental Care, following an earlier position in the same role for a brief period. Previously, Dijkman worked as a basispsycholoog and GZ-psycholoog in opleiding at Huis van Bewaring Arnhem Zuid, and as a Klinisch Psycholoog at Pro Persona, where responsibilities included leading a care program for personality disorders. Additionally, Dijkman has acted as a GZ-psycholoog and project leader for the implementation of the Community Reinforcement Approach. Presently, Dijkman also functions as a strategisch beleidsprofessional at GGNet, focused on improving accessibility and reducing waiting lists for healthcare services. Dijkman’s career includes significant contributions to the forensic psychiatric system and advanced education from Radboud University, culminating in the qualification of Klinisch Psycholoog/Psychotherapeut from the Radboud Centrum Sociale Wetenschappen.
