Stephan Gemsa

Stephan Gemsa is a child and adolescent psychiatrist and medical director at GGNet, where they have been a member of the medical directors' college since 2011. They conducted research on the influence of legislation on the prevalence of mental health care and the consequences of the Mental Health Act, while also serving as a senior team psychiatrist and consultant in residential youth care. Currently, they hold a position on the board of the Dutch Association for Psychiatry and are pursuing a PhD at Radboud University. Previously, they worked as a child psychiatrist at Karakter Kinder- en Jeugdpsychiatrie and held various roles in forensic psychiatry and psychiatric training settings.
