Wendy Stroet graduated in 2018 with a degree in HBO Nursing and subsequently specialized in Geriatric and Gerontology Nursing. They worked as an MBO nurse on a closed ward for individuals with cognitive issues and severe behavioral problems until 2018, and also served as a trainer for aggression and social skills for their colleagues. In early 2019, Wendy transitioned to the field of psychotrauma, and after completing a SPV training in 2021, they began working at GGNet as an SPV within the outpatient clinic in Winterswijk, focusing on trauma treatment and assessment.
