Benjamin Grant is a Senior Scientist at GH Labs since July 2020, having previously served as a Research Scientist in Assay Development at Intellectual Ventures from January 2016 to July 2020. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist and a PhD Candidate at Rice University, where significant contributions were made in developing a paper-based immunoassay for the detection of Plasmodium falciparum Histidine Rich Protein 2, as well as creating a cell-phone based high-resolution microendoscope for early cervical cancer detection. Benjamin began an academic journey as an Undergraduate Researcher under Miguel Nicolelis at Duke University from September 2006 to May 2009. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Bioengineering from Rice University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University.
