Brian Shaw, CSP, possesses extensive experience in environmental health and safety management, currently serving as Manager of Facilities and Safety at GH Labs since July 2020. Prior to this role, Brian held positions at Intellectual Ventures, including Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager and EHS Manager, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing safety for multiple laboratories and emergency response for over 150 personnel. At ZymoGenetics, Brian excelled as EHS & Security Specialist III, acting as Radiation Safety Officer and Chemical Hygiene Officer, while managing hazardous waste and leading the Emergency Response Team. Earlier in Brian's career as a Hazmat Chemist at Clean Harbors, expertise in waste profiling, emergency response, and regulatory compliance was developed. Brian holds a degree in Safety and Health Management from Central Washington University.
