Ghana Library Authority

Founded in 1949, Ghana Library Authority is the oldest institution providing national library services in sub-Saharan Africa. Set Up by GHANA LIBRARY BOARD ACT - 1970 (ACT 327), we are mandated to:

(a) to establish, equip, manage and maintain public libraries in Ghana.
