Ali Ghavidel is an experienced engineering leader currently working at GHD since February 2022. Previously, from September 2018 to February 2022, Ali served as a Senior Civil Engineer (Water) at Jacobs, where responsibilities included civil and hydraulic design for pipelines and pump stations, hydraulic analysis, and project management. Prior to this, Ali spent nearly two decades at Ab Niru Consulting Engineers as a Water and Water Resources Engineer, engaging in a variety of tasks such as hydrology investigations, groundwater modeling, hydraulic design of water treatment plants, and coding for optimization in water resources engineering. Ali holds a PhD in Water Structures, a Master's degree in Irrigation and Drainage, and a Bachelor of Science in Irrigation and Reclamation, all from the University of Tehran.
