Amanda Ament is the Technical Director at GHD, where they have been a lead structural engineer since joining the Brisbane Dams Team in 2010. With over 25 years of experience in structural engineering across Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, Amanda has managed and directed significant projects, including the upgrade of Leslie Harrison Dam and the successful tender design for Ruataniwha Dam. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) with Honours from The University of Queensland and is currently pursuing another Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering at the same institution. Known as an innovative problem solver, Amanda has contributed to numerous dam assessments and upgrades internationally.
