Anthony McCarter is currently the Property & Buildings Lead at GHD Middle East, where they lead multi-disciplinary design teams on complex projects. In previous roles, they served as Regional Director at Halcrow Yolles, leading building design operations across multiple Middle Eastern countries, and as Practice Line Leader at AECOM, overseeing nearly 2000 staff. With a background in structural engineering, McCarter has contributed to iconic projects such as the Burj Al Arab and has been instrumental in achieving ISO certification for quality systems. They hold an Honours degree in Engineering from Cambridge University.
