Brian Daws

Brian Daws currently serves as the Business Group Leader - Project Management Tasmania, Relationship Manager, and Project Director at GHD, overseeing various projects in the Transportation, Dams, Energy, and Building sectors since August 2022. Prior to this role, Brian Daws held multiple positions at Hydro Tasmania from April 2012 to August 2022, including A/Business Group Leader and Delivery Manager for the Battery of the Nation team. Earlier experience includes serving as Senior Project Manager at the Department of Infrastructure, Energy & Resources, managing transportation infrastructure projects in Tasmania, and various roles in the Australian Army. Brian Daws also worked as a Design Engineer at Burnie City Council and a Civil Engineer at Sydney Water, following education in Civil Engineering from UNSW and the University of Wollongong, along with certificates in Competitive Systems and Practices and Workplace Health and Safety.
