Brook Hambly has extensive experience in GIS and location intelligence, having held various leadership roles at notable companies. From 2004 to 2006, Brook worked at URS Corporation, first as a Senior GIS Analyst and then as a GIS Manager. Subsequently, Brook served in multiple capacities at GHD between 2018 and June 2022, including Location Intelligence Lead, Technical Director for Location Intelligence, Business Group Lead for Data and Insights in Australia, and Sydney Spatial Sciences Team Lead. Earlier experience at AECOM from 1999 to 2000 included roles as a Planning and Technology Consultant and Urban Planner/GIS Analyst. Before joining URS Corporation, Brook operated as a Freelance GIS and Digital Delivery Consultant from 2000 to 2004. Brook holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Science/GIS from Southern Cross University, obtained in 1996.
