Caner Akin

Caner Akin, P.Eng, is an experienced professional in geomatics and spatial analysis, currently serving as Co-Founder at BioFeed Nexus since February 2024. At GHD, Caner holds the roles of Team Lead, Product Manager, and Location Intelligence Analyst since January 2021. Caner also leads product management at AYA: Açık Yazılım Ağı for AfetHarita.com and teaches computer programming courses as a Distance Learning Instructor at Conestoga College. Previous experience includes roles as a Geomatics Designer and GIS Technologist at Associated Engineering, as well as project management and adjunct teaching positions at Niagara College. Caner earned a Bachelor's degree in Geomatics Engineering from Yıldız Teknik Üniversitesi, followed by advanced studies in Predictive Analytics and Data Engineering at Udacity, and a graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems at Niagara College.
