Cecilia Gately is an accomplished Technical Director and Environmental Scientist at GHD, with extensive experience in contaminated land assessment, environmental consent compliance monitoring, landfill redevelopment, and infrastructure assessments. Since May 2018, Cecilia has led numerous projects at GHD, including designing investigations to evaluate contaminated land status and associated risks. Prior roles include Senior Environmental Scientist positions at both Davis Ogilvie and Partners Ltd and URS Corporation, where Cecilia contributed to major projects in Christchurch and specialized in soil and groundwater monitoring across various industries. Earlier in her career, Cecilia held positions as an Environmental Scientist, Office Manager, Geologist, Hydrogeologist, and Research Assistant, complemented by a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from Trinity College Dublin and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from the University of Galway.
