Chris Ahern

Chris Ahern is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management within the maritime and coastal development sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at GHD since April 2021, Chris previously held the position of Associate Principal at Applied Technology & Management, Inc., where responsibilities included managing multi-discipline project teams for marina and waterfront development clients in Florida. Chris's background also encompasses various roles at Jacobs, including Project Manager and Owners Representative, where Chris managed significant projects for both domestic and international industrial clients. Chris's career began at Applied Technology & Management, Inc., with a training stint followed by a Project Manager role after returning from an assignment in Dubai, where responsibilities included client relationship management with Nakheel, a major development company. Chris holds a degree in Environmental Engineering Sciences from the University of Florida and an MBA in International Business from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business.
