Crystal Wood, APR, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing, public relations, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Global Engagement, Change and Communications Manager at GHD, Crystal oversees initiatives aimed at enhancing water outcomes through community engagement and agile methodologies. As the CEO and Principal Consultant at Crown Communications Consulting, Crystal develops tailored marketing and communication strategies for diverse clients, including Indigenous groups and tech startups. Previous roles include Communications and Marketing Supervisor for the City of Edmonton and Manager of Communications and Marketing at the University of Alberta, where Crystal successfully implemented strategic communications plans and managed internal communications while fostering strong relationships across various sectors. With a diploma in Public Relations from MacEwan University and further education at NAIT, Crystal brings a wealth of expertise to communication challenges across multiple industries.
