Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones is a Senior Technical Director at GHD with a career spanning over two decades in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering. Since joining GHD in 1999, Daniel has held various leadership roles, including Project Director for the Snowy 2 project and Manager of geotechnical teams in Sydney. Prior experience includes a geotechnical engineering role on the Sakhalin II Oil & Gas Project in Russia and contributions to the Goro Nickel Project in New Caledonia. Additionally, Daniel serves as a Director for Ship of Theseus Pty Ltd and Hambleden Marina, bringing extensive expertise in managing consultancy and engineering projects across Australia, New Caledonia, and Papua New Guinea. Daniel holds a BSc Honours degree in Geology from Cardiff University, completed in 1998.
