David Thompson

David Thompson is an Information Management Lead at GHD, leading the strategic implementation of Information Management across the Americas. They are passionate about Virtual Design & Construction and Building Information Modelling, with a strong focus on delivering value through innovative technologies in the construction industry. David founded the Winnipeg BIM Community to foster collaboration and skill development within the local AECOO industry and serves as a member of the Program Advisory Committee for the BIM Management Certificate program at the University of Manitoba. Their previous roles include Senior Consultant at Turner & Townsend and Virtual Design & Construction Manager at PCL Construction, where they implemented BIM processes and strategies.
