Greg Watson

Greg Watson is a highly experienced professional in the hydropower sector, currently serving as Senior Technical Director at GHD since February 2018. Previously, Greg held key positions such as Manager Hydropower at Norconsult, where coordination of E&M hydro activities in Malaysia was a primary focus, and Senior Hydropower Engineer at SMEC, leading pre-engineering efforts for significant hydropower projects. Greg's extensive background includes serving as Principal Hydropower Engineer at AECOM and Engineering Manager at NTPC - Nam Theun 2 Power Company, where responsibilities encompassed construction supervision and commissioning. Earlier roles at SMEC involved senior engineering positions both with Bakun HEPP and Pergau HEP. Greg holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University.
