Jay Walter

Jay Walter is currently the Engineering Branch Manager at GHD, a leading professional services company focused on delivering engineering and environmental solutions globally. With a rich background in public works and transportation, Jay served as the Public Works Director for both the City of San Luis Obispo and the City of San Carlos from 2001 to 2017. Prior to these roles, Jay was a Transportation Professional and later the District Director at Caltrans from 1983 to 1998. Jay earned a degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo between 1978 and 1983.
