Jianfeng (Jason) Chen is a seasoned geotechnical engineering consultant with a focus on tailings engineering, dam safety, and mine closure. They are currently the Technical Director for Dams and Tailings at GHD and serve as the Lead Geotechnical Engineer for Dams at AECOM through 2024. Previously, they held senior roles at Wood and Hatch and contributed to tailings engineering and mine waste management at Golder Associates. Jianfeng earned a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Engineering from Tong-Ji University.
