Joseph Hixson

Joseph Hixson is a Principal at GHD, with a professional background in engineering geology and geotechnical engineering spanning over two decades. At GHD since September 2016, Joseph focuses on civil and mining infrastructure as well as hydrocarbons projects, involving the design and supervision of geotechnical investigations. Prior to this role, Joseph served as Lead Engineering Geologist at WorleyParsons from October 2008 to September 2016, and as a Senior Engineering Geologist at Hyder Consulting from September 1998 to September 2008, where responsibilities included conducting geotechnical and environmental site investigations and engineering design. Joseph Hixson holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Geology and a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering studies from the University of Portsmouth.
