Mark Parker is a seasoned professional in solid waste management, with extensive experience leading engineering teams and programs. At Tetra Tech from March 2015 to May 2018, Mark served as Team Lead for solid waste projects and established a solid waste management practice in Saskatchewan. Subsequently, as Project Engineer at the Recycling Council of Alberta from September 2020 to December 2022, Mark contributed to various initiatives. From May 2018 to November 2022, Mark held the position of Waste Sector Lead for the Prairies at Morrison Hershfield, overseeing a diverse project portfolio that encompassed technical advisory services, operational assistance, landfill design, and regulatory submissions. Currently, Mark serves as the Business Group Leader for Waste Management in Western Canada at GHD since September 2023. Mark holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta.
